Russia's nat'l definition money supply grows 0.8% in March - CBR
MOSCOW. April 28 (Interfax) - Russia's M2 - national definition - money supply grew 0.8% to 24.041 trillion rubles in March from 23.851 trillion rubles the month before, the Central Bank of Russia (CBR) reported on its website.
In January-March, Russia's M2 money supply fell 2%, from 24.543 trillion rubles.
In annualized terms, the money supply jumped 21.3%, from 19.819 trillion rubles as of April 1, 2011.
M0, or cash in circulation, decreased 0.2% in March to 5.704 trillion rubles, down from 5.713 trillion rubles.
M2 is defined as total cash in circulation (outside banks) and balances in the domestic currency on accounts of resident non-financial organizations, financial organizations (except for credit organizations) and individuals.
