Intergas Central Asia IFRS net profits up 3% in Q1
ALMATY. May 4 (Interfax) - JSC Intergas Central Asia made 10.3 billion tenge in net profits in January-March, a 3% year-on-year increase, the company's report to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) says.
Company sales revenues were up 6% at 25.5 billion tenge, gross profits 11% at 12.9 billion tenge, and pretax profits 3% at 10.3 billion tenge.
Assets increased 2% over the period to 316.09 billion tenge. Company obligations decreased 4% to 117.7 billion tenge. Equity rose 5% to 198.4 billion tenge, but charter capital was unchanged at 2.3 billion tenge.
Intergas Central Asia was set up in June of 1997. It provides management for Kazakhstan's gas-transport system and is part of the company group JSC KazTransGas. It operates a network of trunk gas pipelines stretching for more than 14,000 kilometers and with annual throughput capacity of up to 190 billion cubic meters.
