Medvedev ready to answer questions from A Just Russia deputies
MOSCOW. May 8 (Interfax) - Consultations between Dmitry Mevdedev, a candidate for the post of Russia's prime minister, and members of the A Just Russia faction of the State Duma, have begun in the State Duma.
Before the consultations, Medvedev thanked the parliamentarians for an opportunity to meet with them, state his ideas, and answer their questions.
"Although I have noticed that the head of the faction has called on the members of the faction to vote against my candidacy, I will naturally answer all your questions out of respect for the State Duma and your party," Medvedev said before the consultations.
Medvedev said his position on the majority of issues is well-known and "was formed during my tenure as president" on political, social, and economic issues.
"I will not bore you with long speeches, they are never interesting. Living communication, as a rule, is much better and it helps people better understand each other and notice candidates' strong and weak points," Medvedev said.
