Management of state companies is becoming more transparent - Medvedev
MOSCOW. May 8 (Interfax) - Dmitry Medvedev, who has been nominated for the post of Russia's prime minister, believes additional measures will need to be taken to increase the transparency of state companies.
"Their operations are becoming increasingly transparent and effective thanks to the involvement of independent directors in company management structures, which are controlled by the state," Medvedev said in the State Duma on Tuesday.
At the same time, Medvedev admitted that "a lot of work remains to be done there."
