Kazakhstan plans to boost oil exports 2% in 2012
ASTANA. May 11 (Interfax) - Kazakhstan plans to export 71 million tonnes of oil in 2012-2013, the country's Ministry of Oil and Gas said in its materials, which were distributed during the presentation of the draft law "On the Trunk Pipeline System" on Friday in Astana.
"Effective 2012, the plan is to export 71 million tonnes of oil, 71 million tonnes in 2013, 68 million tonnes in 2014, and 71 million tonnes in 2015," the materials said.
It was earlier reported that Kazakhstan exported 69.6115 million tonnes of oil and gas condensate in 2011, up 3.3% from 2010. Therefore, oil exports in 2012 should go up 2%.
Total production of oil and gas condensate in Kazakhstan came to 80.1 million tonnes. Oil and condensate output should go up to 81 million tonnes in 2012 and around 90 million tonnes by 2015.
