Bashkortostan's Soda to pay 2.33 bln rubles dividends

UFA. May 11 (Interfax) - Soda producer OJSC Soda , which is part of the OJSC Bashkir Chemicals Holding, will pay around 2.33 billion rubles or 97% of net profit for 2011 as dividends, the company said.

Shareholders voted at their annual shareholders meeting on May 10 to accept 16.5 rubles a share on all shares, par value 40 rubles each, or a total of 328.7 million rubles, for 2011. They had already accepted an interim 100.44 rubles a share for nine months.

Another 35.14 rubles a share or 700.056 million rubles will be paid for Q1 2012.

Soda paid 5.9 billion rubles including interim dividends for 2010.

OJSC Soda is a major producer of sodium salt, sodium products, barium compounds, construction materials, mineral additives, and detergents. Bashkortostan owns 61.65% in the company's charter capital while Bashkhim holds 34.8%.

The company has 19,606,010 issued ordinary shares and 315,888 issued preferred type A shares, par value 40,000 rubles each.
