Russian had 0.1% inflation for week, 2% YTD - Rosstat
MOSCOW. May 16 (Interfax) - Russia had 0.1% inflation for the second week in a row in the week May 6-14, the Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat) said.
Inflation has been 0.2% since the start of May and 2.0% since the start of the year, compared with 0.3% and 4.5%, respectively, in the same periods of last year.
Russia had zero inflation for April 24-28 for the first time since October last year. Inflation has been 0.1% for 23 of the last 26 weeks and 0.2% for two of them.
Inflation in annual terms slowed to 3.5% as of May 14, from 3.6% at the end of April and 6.1% at the end of December.
