Rusal Bratsk profit down 46% in Q1
MOSCOW. May 17. (Interfax) - The giant Rusal Bratsk aluminum smelter in Russia's Irkutsk region saw its net profit to Russian Accounting Standards (RAS) plummet 46% year-on-year in Q1 2012 to 527 million rubles, the company said in a report.
Revenue grew 9.8% to 11.7 billion rubles, including 8.652 billion rubles from the sale of primary aluminum, alloys and related products, up 2.6%.
