Industrial production growth in Ukraine slows to 0.7% in 4M

KYIV. May 17. (Interfax) - Industrial production growth in Ukraine slowed to 0.7% year-on-year in April 2012 and was the same as in April 2011, the State Statistics Service has reported.

Industry grew 0.9% in January through March, and from 2% in January through February.

The service said that compared with the previous month, industrial production in April 2012 fell by 3.4%.

Industrial growth slowed to 7.3% in 2011, from 11.2% in 2010.
