Gazprom ups stake in Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat to 87.5%

MOSCOW. May 23 (Interfax) - LLC Gazprom Pererabotka has increased its stake in OJSC Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat from 69.033% to 87.51% as of May 12, a statement issued by Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat says.

At the end of last year, Gazprom Pererabotka owned 63.7% of the Bashkortostan-based company, and increased its stake to 69.033% this year.

A source familiar with the situation told Interfax back in late March that the company group United Capital Partners (UCP), which is controlled by Ilya Scherbovich, had reduced its own stake in Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat from 24.33% to 18.48%. According to the list of Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat affiliates as of March 31, UCP still had that 24.33%.
