TYUMEN. May 24 (Interfax) - Total oil output in the Tyumen region (excluding the Khanty-Mansiysk and the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Districts) increased by 27% year-on-year to 2.414 million tonnes in January-April 2012, the region's department for resource use and the environment told Interfax.
The bulk of this oil output, 2.136 million tonnes, was produced at TNK-BP's fields. The remainder of the production came from LLC Gazpromneft-Khantos at the Zimnoye field.
Excluding the autonomous districts, TNK-BP has production operations in the Tyumen region at the Kalchinskoye, Urnenskoye, Ust-Tegusskoye and Tyamkinskoye fields.
Oil production in the region is forecast this year at 7.5 million tonnes, which would be a 12% increase over 2011's results.
