Russian premier distributes responsibilities between his deputies
MOSCOW. May 24 (Interfax) - Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has signed a resolution distributing responsibilities between his deputies.
"I have signed [a document] on the distribution of responsibilities between Russian deputy prime ministers. At first, I did not plan to do so at all and wanted to tackle all of the issues myself. But then I realized that I would not be able to cope single-handedly with this huge number of issues under the government's control. That is why the burden was split up, including between you," he said on Thursday.
"I know that you helped determine the areas of supervision and coordination. I hope that you will control everything added to your jurisdiction by my resolution as effectively as possible," Medvedev said.
