Putin, Ukraine leader to meet
MOSCOW. May 26 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Saturday that he and his Ukrainian counterpart, Viktor Yanukovych, had decided to meet in Ukraine's region of Crimea soon.
Putin made the announcement during a meeting with the Ukrainian and Russian prime ministers, Mykola Azarov and Dmitry Medvedev.
Putin said he remained at the "disposal" of Azarov despite moving up from the job of prime minister to the role of president while Medvedev expressed willingness to keep maintaining regular contacts with the Ukrainian Cabinet.
