Ruble losses vs. dollar, euro Thurs take on threatening nature
MOSCOW. May 31 (Interfax) - The Russian ruble's losses against the U.S. dollar and the euro in Thursday MICEX trading took on a threatening nature amid negative world capital markets and market speculation, including stop-loss operations among some players, and the bicurrency basket ($0.55 and EUR 0.45) rose 77 kopecks to 37.05 rubles.
The dollar closed up 72 kopecks from Wednesday close at 33.48 rubles/$1 and the euro 83.29 kopecks at 41.4229 rubles/EUR1.
