Prokhorov creates party of 500 people

MOSCOW. June 4 (Interfax) - Businessman Mikhail Prokhorov has announced the beginning of the creation of the Civil Platform Party.

"Today we are beginning the registration of a new political force, which will be called the Civil Platform Party," Prokhorov told a press conference in the central office of Interfax on Monday.

"This party will be very special," he said. "This party will only have 500 members. These people will be representative of those regional leaders who were formed during A Just Cause and the presidential campaign," he said.
