Protest bill signed into law - president's press office

MOSCOW. June 8 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed into law the federal bill, "'On changes to the Russian Code of Administration Offenses and the federal law, 'On assemblies, rallies, demonstrations, marches and pickets,'" the president's press office said.

The bill was passed by the State Duma on June 5 and approved by the Federation Council on June 6, 2012.
