Major terror plot foiled in Ingushetia's Malgobek
NAZRAN. June 11 (Interfax) - Police in the Ingush town of Malgobek have foiled a terror plot, a law enforcement source told Interfax
"An explosion occurred outside a grocery shop at around 01:50 a.m. Moscow time. The police who arrived and inspected the scene found two more explosive devices in the adjacent area, which apparently were to go off when the police have arrived at the scene of the first blast," the source said.
The first improvised explosive device (IED) consisted of 500 grams of plastid and a radio controlled detonator, he said. The second device consisted of five underbarrel grenade launcher rounds.
"Both explosive devices were rendered safe by bomb disposal experts," the source said.
It was reported earlier that an IED blew up near the house number 54 in Gardanov street at around 1:50 a.m. Moscow time. The explosion caused damage to the house. No one has been hurt or killed.
