Surkov to head govt commission on television and radio broadcasting

MOSCOW. June 13 (Interfax) - Vladislav Surkov, deputy prime minister and head of the government administration, has been appointed head of the governmental commission on the development of television and radio broadcasting.

A degree to this effect was signed by Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev on June 9.

The commission also comprises Communications Minister Nikolai Nikiforov, Alexei Gromov (first deputy head of the presidential administration), Dmitry Peskov (deputy head of the presidential administration and presidential press officer), Natalya Timakova (press officer for the prime minister), Oleg Dobrodeyev (general director of VGTRK), Oleg Dukhovnitsky (head of Rossvyaz), Denis Manturov (industry and trade minister), Alexander Zharov (head of Roskomnadzor), Eduard Sagalayev (president of the National Association of Television and Radio Broadcasters), Mikhail Seslavinsky (head of Rospechat), Konstantin Ernst (general director of Chanel One), etc.
