Federal Grid Co, grid holding mulling single share - source

MOSCOW. June 15 (Interfax) - Federal Grid Company (FGC) and Inter-District Grid Company Holding (IDGC Holding) are thinking of switching to a single share, two industry sources told Interfax.

"This is under consideration, but a decision has yet to be reached," a source at a profile agency said.

Another industry source said FGC would perform the functions of management company at first, then IDGC Holding would be disbanded and FGC would take direct control of its subsidiaries.

The government ordered on May 8 that IDGC Holding be transferred to FGC's management. The companies will ask their shareholders to vote on the issue, which their boards have approved, at their annual meetings on June 29 and June 30.
