Moscow six-party talks on Iran held in business-like manner - EU official

MOSCOW. June 18 (Interfax) - The six-party talks with Iran are being held in a good atmosphere, a European Union representative said.

The atmosphere is good, the talks are being held in a business-like manner, EU High Representative for Foreign policy's spokesman Michael Mann said at a briefing in Moscow.

It was reported that EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton is due to hold talks with Iran's Supreme National Security Council Secretary Saeed Jalili, with participation of the political directors from the six nations negotiating the Iranian nuclear program.

The six negotiators are Russia, the United States, China, Germany, the United Kingdom and France.

The Russian delegation is led by Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov.

The previous round of six-party talks was held in Baghdad on May 23-24.
