End of Iran's 20% uranium enrichment is main current task - EU
MOSCOW. June 18 (Interfax) - The main task of the current stage of negotiations with Iran is to stop 20% uranium enrichment, Michael Mann, press secretary of EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton, said on Monday.
It is most important to stop 20% uranium enrichment and to close down the Fordo plant, he said.
Once that is done, other questions, including the Tehran research reactor, may be discussed, Mann said.
The highest priority is the end of 20% uranium enrichment, he emphasized.
