Capacity of Kuragino-Kyzyl railroad could double - EPK
MOSCOW. June 19 (Interfax) - The capacity of the Kuragino-Kyzyl railroad that is being built to a major coal deposit in Tuva could be more than doubled to 35 million-37 million tonnes in future, Ruslan Baisarov, the co-owner of Yenisei Industrial Company (EPK), which has commissioned the construction of part of the rail line, told reporters on Monday.
He said steelmakers Severstal and Evraz, and other companies have shown an interest in the project. "We are currently discussing the mechanisms for cooperation, but have not yet come to a concrete decision. [
