Opposition activists leave St. Petersburg Isaakiyevskaya Square

ST. PETERSBURG. June 19 (Interfax) - Activists from the Occupy St. Petersburg movement have left their camp in the city's Isaakiyevskaya Square, eyewitnesses told Interfax on Tuesday.

According to passers-by, tourists and mothers with children are talking walks on the square and police officers are on duty.

There is no sign of the camp in the square. All benches and clean and there is only one homeless man sleeping under a tree, the eyewitnesses said.

St. Petersburg opposition activists made a camp in Isaakiyevskaya Square on May 7 to protest the outcome of the presidential elections. The location of the camp has changed several times.
