Iran, P5+1 still disagree on principle of resolving Iranian nuclear issue - France's diplomat
MOSCOW/PARIS. June 20 (Interfax) - There still exist differences between P5+1 and Iran on the principle of resolving the Iranian nuclear issue despite a certain progress at the Moscow round of talks, a French diplomatic source told Interfax.
"There is still a huge difference between us," the source said.
Iran, in particular, demands that the international community recognizes its right to enrich uranium for civilian purposes and cancels the imposed sanctions, he said. P5+1 expects that Iran should first dispel the international community's fears about its nuclear program and only then speak about lifting sanctions, he continued.
Moreover, there are crucially important differences on definitions, he said.
