Uralkali to cut potash prices 7% for NPK producers in Q3

MOSCOW. June 21. (Interfax) - Uralkali will supply Russian complex fertilizer (NPK) producers with potash at 8,662 rubles per tonne (without discount) in the third quarter of this year, a decline of 7% over the second quarter, the company said in a statement.

In the second quarter, the price was 9,318 rubles per tonne.

For industrial producers, the price will be 9,468 rubles per tonne of 95% KCL and 9,768 rubles per tonne of 98% KCL. In the second quarter, the price was 10,214 rubles and 10,515 rubles, respectively.

"The decrease in the price for NPK producers and industrial customers is mostly driven by the decreasing dollar exchange rate," the statement said.
