Kovytka gas to enter Yakutia-Khabarovsk-Vladivostok pipeline - Gazprom's Miller

ST. PETERSBURG. June 22 (Interfax) - Russian gas giant Gazprom is working on an integrated project to develop the Chayandinskoye oil and gas condensate field in connection to the Kovytka gas condensate field, the company's CEO, Alexei Miller, told journalists on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

He said that "the point of the integrated solution is that a pipeline from Kovytka will go towards Chayanda and, in the end, gas from Kovytka will be transported through the Yakutia-Khabarovsk-Vladivostok gas pipeline, the launch of which is slated for 2016".

Miller added that various options for the pipeline route are under consideration. There are northern and southern options.

Last Tuesday, the company's management committee reviewed the development of a final investment decision for Chayanda. Several additional proposals were made. The feasibility study should be adjusted by July 15 and go through expert review over a month's time, Miller said.
