Deputy Russian Econ Minister Oseyevsky resigning
ST.PETERSBURG. June 23 (Interfax) - Deputy Russian Economic Development Minister Mikhail Oseyevsky is changing jobs.
"Yes, I'm going to work at a major company, as deputy head," Oseyevsky told reporters on the sidelines of the economic forum in St Petersburg.
Oseyevsky did not name the company. "You'll get to know everything. I can say I'll be working in Moscow," he said.'
Oseyevsky was a deputy governor of St Petersburg when Valentina Matviyenko was governor. He became deputy to the then economic development minister, Elvira Nabiullina, when St Petersburg got a new governor.
Oseyevsky worked at the ministry for only around six months where he oversaw support to small and medium-sized business, improving state purchases, and development of competition. Recently appointed Deputy Minister Vladimir Simonenko now oversees these areas.
According to the regulation "On Russia's Ministry of Economic Development", the minister can have nine deputies, including one state-secretary/deputy minister. All these positions are filled at present (Igor Manylov, Stanislav Voskresensky, Andrei Klepach, Alexei Likhachev, Pavel Korolev, Oseyevsky, Simonenko, Oleg Savelyev, and Oleg Fomichev). Oseyesky's departure will free up a space for Olga Dergunova, who will likely hold the positions of head of Russian Federal Property Agency (Rosimushchestvo) and Deputy Minister of Economic Development.
