Izhmash replaces general director
IZHEVSK. June 25 (Interfax) - Production Director at OJSC Izhmash Alexander Kosov has been appointed the company's acting general director, and Izhmash's former General Director Maxim Kuzyuk will become the head of OJSC Aggregate Construction Bureau Yakor, Izhmash said in a Saturday press release.
"On June 15, 2012, the current General Director of OJSC Izhmash Maxim Kuzyuk transferred to OJSC Aggregate Construction Bureau Yakor, the flagship enterprise of the holding Aviation Aggregates and Power Supply Systems, where he will act as general director," it said.
Meanwhile, Kuzyuk will remain a member of Izhmash's board of directors and "continue to head the working strategy committee, which is responsible for putting together and supervising the implementation of the long-term development strategy for the enterprise and the firearms holding as a whole," the press release said.
Information previously surfaced that Izhmash had replaced its general director in the middle of June.
Izhmash, which is controlled by Russian state-owned corporation Russian Technologies (Rostechnologii), includes enterprises that produce defense equipment, firearms and sport and hunting weapons.
