Prosecutors propose postponing hearing Tymoshenko appeal until forensic experts' decision rendered

KYIV. June 26 (Interfax) - Oksana Drogobitskaya, a state prosecutor in the trial of the cassation appeal filed by Ukraine's former prime minister Yulia Tymoshenko contesting the sentence in the gas supply case, on Tuesday asked the Higher Specialized Court to postpone the trial until the forensic evaluation of Tymoshenko, which was ordered by a Kharkiv court, is completed.

The prosecutor made this request at the beginning of the court hearing on Tuesday, an Interfax correspondent has reported.

The prosecutor suggested holding the hearing of the cassation appeal after July 10.
