Military cargo aboard vessel Alaid can be taken to Syria by air - source

MOSCOW. June 27 (Interfax-AVN) - Russia will do everything to fulfill its obligations under the contracts for the supply to Syria of the air defense systems and helicopters that are now aboard the vessel Alaid in any case, a military-diplomatic source in Moscow told Interfax-AVN on Wednesday.

"Three Mi-25 helicopters and air defense systems can be easily taken to Syria by air," the source said, adding that a decision on the alternative delivery of the cargo carried by the Alaid may be made in the nearest future.
