Russian Armed Forces take no emergency measures with regard to Syria - General Staff
MOSCOW. June 28 (Interfax) - Russia has not sent its warships to Syria, where an internal conflict is on, Russian General Staff Chief Gen. Makarov said on Thursday.
"There are neither Russian ships nor personnel in Syria. We have not sent anyone there," he said.
"Russia is monitoring the regional situation in a regular regime. The Armed Forces are not taking any emergency measures," he noted.
