Russia will not back interference in Syrian affairs from outside - Lavrov

MOSCOW. June 28 (Interfax) - Russia will not support interference in the situation in Syria from the outside, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said.

"We will not support and cannot support any interference from the outside or imposition of recipes," Lavrov said at a press conference in Moscow on Thursday following negotiations with Tunisian Foreign Minister Rafik Abdessalem.

"This also concerns [Syrian President] Bashar al-Assad's fate," he said.
