Vietnamese foreign minister to visit Russia
MOSCOW. June 29 (Interfax) - Vietnamese Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh will be in Moscow on a visit from June 29 to July 3 to discuss bilateral relations and major joint economic projects, including in the oil and gas sector.
"Priority will be given to an analysis of bilateral relations and of ways to promote them in all areas, with an accent on the political, trade, investment and humanitarian components. The parties will discuss further moves to deepen the interstate dialogue and to implement major economic projects, first of all in the oil and gas, and energy sectors, including nuclear energy, as well as measures to intensify contacts in science and technology, education, culture and the training of personnel," the Russian Foreign Ministry said on its website on Friday.
The Vietnamese foreign minister will be visiting Russia at Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov's invitation.
The Vietnamese and Russian foreign ministers will exchange views on the global agenda, and on ways to ensure security and sustained development in Asia and the Pacific, and to intensity interaction between Russia and Vietnam in the world arena.
