Rosoboronexport estimates imports of arms to Russia at over $100 mln

ZHUKOVSKY, Moscow region. June 29 (Interfax-AVN) - The Russian state arms export agent, Rosoboronexport, has boosted purchases of weapons and military hardware from abroad in the past years, Rosoboronexport Deputy General Director Igor Sevastyanov told journalists.

"While such imports earlier amounted to about $1-$2 million, we have exceeded the figure of $100 million in the past several years," Sevastyanov said at the Engineering Technologies 2012 international forum in Zhukovsky outside Moscow on Friday.
