Gas production in Russia slips 2.8% in H1
MOSCOW. July 2 (Interfax) - There was 338.673 billion cubic meters (bcm) of gas produced in Russia in the January-June, a 2.8% year-on-year decrease, according to Fuel and Energy Dispatch Center (TsDU TEK) figures.
There was 46.203 bcm of gas produced in Russia just last month.
OJSC Gazprom produced 252.762 bcm in H1 and 33.302 bcm just in June.
One of the biggest independent gas producers, OJSC NOVATEK , extracted 25.726 bcm in H1 and 3.850 bcm in June. Other oil and gas producers extracted 13.391 bcm of gas (2.037 bcm in June) and production-sharing agreement operators - 13.352 bcm (1.7 bcm).
Vertically integrated oil companies produced 33.443 bcm of gas in H1 and 5.315 bcm just last month.
The greatest amounts of 'blue fuel' production in January-June were achieved by Lukoil - 8.264 bcm (1.338 bcm in June), Surgutneftegas - 6.182 bcm (0.984 bcm), TNK-BP Holding - 6.502 bcm (0.976 bcm), Rosneft - 6.145 bcm (0.971 bcm), and Gazprom Neft - 4.385 bcm (0.682 bcm).
