Kazakhstan's first 24-hour news channel to start broadcasting on Sept 1
ASTANA. July 3 (Interfax) - Channel 24.kz that will be broadcasting news around the clock will go on air in Kazakhstan on September 1.
President Nursultan Nazarbayev watched the pilot broadcasting of the new TV channel at the Astana Industrial Forum on Tuesday.
"This is a very important event in the promotion of the Kazakh national television. The journalists that will be contributing to the news channel will be the first in Kazakhstan's television history to work at the channel structured in the mode of world most popular 24 hour news channels," he said.
