Roscosmos reschedules Sirius 5 satellite launch until July 9
MOSCOW. July 3 (Interfax-AVN) - The launch of the Sirius 5 satellite, earlier set for July 7, has been rescheduled until July 9, the federal space agency Roscosmos has reported.
"As preparations were underway for the launch of the Sirius 5 satellite, the state commission ordered additional checks on the Proton-M carrier rocket, Roscosmos said on its website.
A source in the Yuzhny space center at Baikonur earlier informed Interfax that the launch of the Sirius 5 satellite could be again put off.
