Russian, Kuwaiti diplomats discuss Syria, bilateral cooperation
MOSCOW. July 3 (Interfax) - Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov has met with Kuwait Ambassador to Russia Naser Al-Muzzayin to discuss the Syrian crisis in the context of the June 30 international meeting in Geneva and, the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
On July 3, Russian President's Special Envoy for the Middle East and Deputy Foreign Minister Bogdanov met with the Kuwaiti ambassador at the latter's request, the ministry said on its website.
"The parties discussed pressing issues regarding further development of the Russian-Kuwaiti cooperation, including on economy and investment, as well as regional issues, with an emphasis on the situation in Syria in the context of the June 30 international ministerial meeting of the Action Group on Syria held in Geneva," the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
