Klaipedos nafta announces tender to build pipeline from future LNG terminal
VILNIUS. July 3. (Interfax) - Lithuanian oil terminal operator Klaipedos nafta, which is implementing a liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal project, on Tuesday announced a tender to design and lay a gas pipeline that would join the future terminal to Lithuania's gas distribution network.
The winner of the tender will have 27 months to design and lay around 17 kilometers of pipeline from the terminal's quay to gas company Lietuvos dujos' distribution station, according to the tender conditions.
In addition, equipment, a gas metering station, a telecommunications system and other systems will need to be installed at the quay.
The tender will last until August 2.
