Air pollution levels to rise in Moscow

MOSCOW. July 4 (Interfax) - The level of atmospheric air pollution in Moscow is expected to rise over the next 24 hours, chief specialist at MosEcoMonitoring Alexei Popikov told Interfax.

"Due to the worsened atmospheric dispersion an increase above accepted levels of harmful substances is likely during nighttime and morning hours," Popikov said.

On Wednesday morning, atmospheric pollution control stations registered levels below similar indictors on Tuesday, he said.
