Lavrov, Westerwelle discuss preparations for top-level talks

MOSCOW. July 5 (Interfax) - Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle have discussed preparations for top-level interstate consultations to be held in Kazan.

"We finalized the timetable of bilateral political dialogue in line with the July 1 meeting between the Russian president and the German chancellor in Berlin. The central event that needs to be organized and well-prepared will be the 14th round of interstate top-level consultations due to take place in Kazan," Lavrov told reporters after talks with Westerwelle.
