Tatneft increases oil output 0.4% in H1

KAZAN. July 6 (Interfax) - OJSC Tatneft produced 12.913 million tonnes oil in Tatarstan in January-June 2012, up 0.4% year-on-year, the company said in a statement.

The company surpassed its production plan for the first half by 2.3%. For instance, the company produced 2.132 million tonnes of oil in June (up 0.1% year-on-year).

Tatneft Group's total output came to 13.06 million tonnes of oil, up 2.3% year-on-year.

The company drilled 323,100 meters in the six months (up 12%), including 238,400 meters for Tatneft (the level for the first half of 2011) and 30,400 meters were for the company's subsidiaries (up 30%).

A total of 184 wells were built and commissioned (down 4.7%), 129 of which were for Tatneft (down 9.8%) while 13 were for subsidiaries compared to 18 in the first half of 2011.

The company's subsidiary, OJSC TANEKO, (an oil refining and petrochemical complex in Nizhnekamsk) refined 622,700 tonnes of oil and produced 619,300 tonnes of petroleum products.
