Some 2,500 people still without water in flood-stricken Krasnodar territory - ministry

ROSTOV-ON-DON. July 10 (Interfax) - Water supplies have not yet been restored to the villages of Nizhnebakanskaya and Neberdzhayevskaya in Russia's southern Krasnodar territory, which was recently hit by devastating floods, a spokesman for the local branch of the Emergency Situations Ministry told Interfax.

"A total of 2,400 people, of them 2,000 in the village of Neberdzhayevskaya, are still suffering from the absence of water supplies," he said.

Power supplies have already been resumed in the town of Krymsk, where 11 meal stations are operating, he said.
