Rosneftegaz not interested in absorbing Zarubezhneft - Sechin

MOSCOW. July 10. (Interfax) - OJSC Rosneftegaz is not interested in absorbing state-owned Zarubezhneft, Rosneft President and member of Rosneftegaz's board of directors Igor Sechin told journalists.

"No, it's not interested," he responded to a journalist's question.

Zarubezhneft has a project to develop a deposit on the Vietnam shelf, which figures into intergovernmental agreements. "Zarubezhneft has international projects with Vietnam, and one needs to take into account agreements enshrined in intergovernmental agreements," Sechin said.
