Power Machines to manufacture equipment for Vietnamese power plant
ST. PETERSBURG. July 12 (Interfax) - OJSC Power Machines will manufacture and deliver key power equipment for the Nhon Trach thermal power plant in Vietnam, the Russian company said in a statement.
The statement said that Power Machines has signed a contract with BTG Holding. The contract foresees the Russian company designing, manufacturing and delivering power six units, which will each consist of a K-100 steam turbine with 110 MWt in capacity and a TZFP-100 turbo-generator with a feed system.
In addition, Power Machines has been contracted to oversee the installation and launch of this equipment. The first shipments should be received in the second half of 2014.
Power Machines produces and supplies equipment for hydroelectric power plants, combined heat and power plants, nuclear power plants and combined-cycle power plants. The company's production capacity is located in the Leningrad and Pskov regions, as well as St. Petersburg and Kaluga.
