Russian industry likely to have slowed in June - Klepach
MOSCOW. July 12 (Interfax) - Russian industrial output growth is likely to have slowed in June compared with May, Deputy Economic Development Minister Andrei Klepach told Interfax.
"June growth will be a little lower than in May," he said.
The Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat) will unveil the June data on July 16 or 17.
Industrial output grew 3.7% in May compared with the same month last year, 1.3% in April, 2% in March, 6.5% in February and 3.8% in January.
Seasonally adjusted growth accelerated to 1% in May from 0.1% in April. Industry fell 1.2% in March compared with February.
Industrial output grew 3.4% year-on-year in January-May.
Analysts told Interfax in a consensus forecast that they expected 3.6% growth in June.
