Russia might see capital inflow in June - Econ Min

YALTA. July 13 (Interfax) - Russia's Economic Development Ministry believes some capital inflow might be posted for June 2012, Economic Development Minister Andrei Belousov told journalists.

"Judging by preliminary stats, capital outflow ion June decreased rapidly. There is an estimate that it has been replaced by some inflow," Belousov said.

Belousov added the general decrease in capital outflow has been visible for the past four months. "In sum, it seems, that it might be close to zero in June," he said.

It was earlier reported that net outflow of capital in the first half of 2012, according to the Central Bank of Russia's estimates, came to $43.4 billion. The bulk of this figure, $33 billion, was posted in the first quarter. The rate of outflow has slowed in recent months.

The ministry's overall forecast, which was announced in May, puts net outflow within $15 billion-$25 billion. In order that the forecast is realized, inflow for the second half should come to almost $20 billion.
