Oil output in Irkutsk Region up 70% in H1, gas production increases 14 times
IRKUTSK. July 13 (Interfax) - Resource producers in the Irkutsk region in January-June 2012 boosted oil output by 70% year-on-year to 4.742 million tonnes, the region's resource agency, Irkutsknedra, told Interfax.
Gas production in the first half increased by 1310% to 6.06515 billion cubic meters while gas condensate output rose 60% to 69,480 tonnes.
OJSC Verkhnechonskneftegaz (owned by OJSC TNK-BP Holding and Rosneft ) produced 3.384 million tonnes of oil at the Verkhnechonsk oil and gas condensate field (up 60%) and 5.45 bcm of gas (up 26.6 times) in the first half.
LLC Irkutsk Oil Company (owned by CJSC INK-Kapital) produced 1.057 million tonnes of oil at the Yaraktinskoye, Danilovskoye, Markovskoye oil and gas condensate fields and the Zapadno-Ayanskoye licensed section (up 120%), as well as 371.9 million cubic meters of gas (up 16%), and 34,200 tonnes of condensate (up 20%).
CJSC Oil Company Dulisma (which is owned by Sberbank ) produced 301,000 tonnes oil in the period (up 200%) from the Dulisminskoye field, as well as 206.6 mcm of gas (up 230%), and 32,800 tonnes of condensate (up 160%).
Irkutsknedra said that total output was increased according to the requirements in technical documents for these fields' development.
The agency also said that OJSC Gazprom's gas output in the Irkutsk region in the first half of 2012 increased by 200% to 22.46 mcm. The company's condensate production rose 180% to 1,080 tonnes.
LLC Atov-Mag Plus reduced gas production at the Atovskoye gas condensate field to 5.3 mcm (down 1.9% year-on-year) in January-June while boosting gas condensate production by 29% to 1,090 tonnes.
Total gas output at the Bratskoye field (owned by oil and gas company Itera through OJSC Bratskekogaz) increased 30% to 3.49 mcm while gas condensate production went up by 30% to 310 tonnes.
It was earlier reported that producers in Irkutsk region increased oil production in 2011 by 100% to 6.523 million tonnes while gas output rose 70% to 1.0598 bcm. Gas condensate production increased by 28% to 90,820 tonnes last year.
