General contract for Belarusian NPP construction to be signed on July 18 - official

SOLIGORSK. July 17 (Interfax) - Belarus and Russia will sign a general contract for construction of a Belarusian nuclear power plant (NPP) on Wednesday, Belarusian First Deputy Prime Minister Vladimir Semashko said.

"The general contract will be signed tomorrow at a session of the Union State Council of Ministers," Semashko said on Tuesday, responding to a question posed by Interfax.
