Omsk Oil Refinery increases output 3.6% in H1
MOSCOW. July 18 (Interfax) - Omsk Oil Refinery, which is part of Gazprom Neft , increased total oil processing by 3.6% year-on-year to 10.2 million tonnes in January-June 2012, the company said in a statement.
The refinery's production on high-octane gasoline increased by 15.7% to 2 million tonnes. Production of low-viscosity ship fuel went up almost 400% to 567,900 tonnes.
From January to June, Omsk Oil Refinery produced 785,700 tonnes of aviation fuel and 920,500 tonnes of heavy fuel for sea vessels, up 10.4% and 44.9% year-on-year, respectively.
The refinery launched hydrotreatment facilities for motor fuel and gasoline with capacity at 1.2 million tonnes in May. A second unit, a hydrotreatment facility for diesel fuel with capacity at 3 million tonnes, will be commissioned in the third quarter of this year. All gasoline production the refinery, starting from 2013, will meet Class 5 standards.
The facility refined 19.95 million tonnes of oil in 2011. The refinery's oil conversion rate for last year came to 84.05%.
